Arising from a series of improvisation workshops run by Marc Buckingham, Impromania began as a Loft studio production and became a touring company playing in venues around Leamington and occasionally further afield. The format was similar in some ways to the TV show Whose Line is it Anyway?, in which sketches were acted out based on suggestions from the audience.
