Joyce Hall died on 8 April 2002, aged 80, a loyal and valued member of the Loft for over half a century. She took many acting roles, but is best remembered as our long-serving Property Mistress, a job she undertook diligently and expertly for forty years until her retirement, aged 75, in 1997. As an ex-librarian by trade, she was also an invaluable source of reference material on anything and everything theatrical.
