It was at the home of Mr W A Constable and the Rev Mrs W L Constable (Innisfree, Woodcote Road, Warwick) that the first meeting of the Warwick and Leamington Dramatic Study Club took place on May 5, 1922. At that inaugural meeting Mr Constable was appointed the first Director of the club now known as the Loft Theatre Company.
